The Crime Branch has rescued two women and arrested two men during a raid on a fast food outlet allegedly operating as a front for prostitution in Saligao.
North Goa Superintendent of Police Rahul Gupta said the accused, identified as Sani (24) from Uttar Pradesh and Jitendra (26) from Rajasthan, were allegedly caught red-handed while attempting to hand over the rescued women to customers.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law, and further investigation is underway to determine the extent of the racket and identify others involved.
