The Goa Forward Party (GFP) has launched an ambitious state-wide outreach campaign titled “Amcho Awaaz Vijai”, aimed at gathering public grievances and raising them during the upcoming monsoon session of the Goa Legislative Assembly. The initiative was announced during a press conference by GFP leaders Durgadas Kamat, Mohandas Lolienkar, and Deepak Kalangutkar.

GFP General Secretary (Organisation) Durgadas Kamat stated that party president Vijai Sardesai will personally engage with citizens across all talukas—from Pernem to Canacona—as part of a two-phase campaign to ensure comprehensive coverage of the state. Goans have been invited to participate actively by submitting their complaints and suggestions via email to publicsuggestions@goaforward.in by July 10.

“Every revolution begins with a conversation,” said Kamat, who highlighted critical issues such as erratic power and water supply, crumbling infrastructure, unemployment, neglected schools, and failing healthcare systems. He said Sardesai intends to expose these governance failures and propose actionable solutions during the Assembly session.

Deepak Kalangutkar, GFP’s North Goa District President, noted that grievances are pouring in from every taluka, indicating widespread dissatisfaction. He unveiled the campaign’s schedule, which kicks off on June 29 at Bhagwati Hall in Pernem, with subsequent events planned across Mapusa, Panjim, Bicholim, Vasco, Canacona, Curchorem, Ponda, Sanguem, and Margao until July 11.

Recalling the success of past outreach initiatives, Mohandas Lolienkar emphasized the growing disconnect between the government and the people. He affirmed Sardesai’s unwavering role as a voice for Goans in the Assembly, pledging that the party will visit every taluka to listen to citizens and convert public frustration into concrete legislative action.

“This isn’t just a political exercise,” said Lolienkar. “It’s a movement to restore accountability and give Goans their voice back.”
