After attending the 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant reiterated the state’s strong commitment to the national vision of “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) by 2047. The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focused on the collective mission to transform all states into “Viksit Rajya” as part of the broader national development strategy.
Addressing the media, Chief Minister Sawant thanked the Prime Minister for his leadership and strategic direction during the discussions. He affirmed that Goa is fully aligned with the central government’s development goals and is determined to actively contribute to the realisation of this ambitious vision.
Sawant further mentioned that Goa, as a key member of “Team India,” will implement policy measures and development initiatives in line with the national roadmap, reinforcing the state’s role in building a prosperous and developed India by 2047.
