PONDA: Autocross 2024 – DIRT 6, a motorsport event, will be held on December 28 and 29, at the GEC Ground, Farmagudi-Ponda. The event is organised by the All Goa Motor Sports Association, a body affiliated with the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) and recognised by the Government of India. Over 100 drivers, including national-level champions and renowned names from the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC), such as Ritesh Guttedar, Nikeeta Takkale, Druva Chandrashekar, Sushem Kabeer, and Lokesh Gowda, will compete. Local Goan talent, who have consistently shone at national championships, will also showcase their skills.
The event will feature a Twin Track setup, allowing two cars to race side-by-side in a thrilling battle for the fastest times. Categories are spread across two days:
December 28: Up to 1100 CC; 1101 CC to 1400 CC; MUV/SUV Class; Goan Open Class; Goan Ladies Class (free entry for participants)
December 29: 1401 CC to 1650 CC; Ladies Class Fastest Driver Category; Diesel Open Class; Indian Petrol Open Class; Unrestricted Class Fastest Driver Category
The fastest overall driver will take home Rs 1 lakh, while the fastest lady driver will win Rs 50,000. Trophies and cash prizes will also be awarded in individual categories.
