Goa’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) has arrested three Swedish nationals for allegedly possessing a large quantity of banned substances, including LSD and ketamine, valued at over ₹2.59 crore.
The seized contraband includes 24.8 grams of LSD in liquid form, 70 LSD blotters, 49.3 grams of liquid ketamine, and 1.5 grams of ketamine powder, police said in a statement.
Investigations further revealed that the trio had been residing in Goa for the past two years without any valid travel or residential documents, raising concerns about overstaying and visa violations.
The police have initiated legal proceedings under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, as well as relevant provisions of the Foreigners Act.
Authorities are continuing the probe to uncover any broader drug distribution networks the accused may be connected to.
