In a significant move towards enhancing smart policing, Goa Police has introduced two cutting-edge AI-based tools — Spot the Scam and Radical Content Analyser. The tools were officially launched at the police headquarters by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

Speaking at the launch, CM Sawant emphasized the importance of adopting advanced technology in law enforcement, stating that the AI tools will play a key role in tackling cybercrime and bolstering digital investigations.

“With the growing misuse of technology, AI-powered solutions are no longer optional but essential for modern policing,” Sawant said, adding that Goa Police has already implemented other tech-based systems such as Quick Pass and Deep Trace.

Officials noted that Spot the Scam is designed to identify online fraud patterns, while Radical Content Analyser helps monitor and flag extremist or suspicious digital content. These tools are expected to significantly improve the efficiency and speed of cybercrime detection and response.
