
The Goa State Yoga Academy recently hosted a Taluka-level Women’s Yogasana and Traditional Dish-Making Competition, drawing an enthusiastic response from around 55 participants.
The event highlighted a unique blend of fitness and tradition, as women showcased their talent in yoga while also preserving Goan culinary heritage through traditional cooking.
Shraddha Sankalp Amonkar attended the event as the Chief Guest, alongside Maria Dais, Principal of Dipvihar School, who was the Guest of Honour. Both dignitaries awarded prizes and certificates to the winners, lauding the participants for their dedication and encouraging them to continue promoting health, wellness, and cultural values.
The competition was hailed as a grand success, serving as a platform for women’s empowerment by combining physical well-being with cultural pride.
