The Goa government is set to introduce a 50% concession in bus fares for working women, a proposal announced by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant.
According to officials, the scheme is currently being finalized and will be implemented first by the state-run Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL).
The initiative aims to make daily commuting more affordable for women in the workforce and is part of the government’s broader efforts to support women’s empowerment and ease the cost of living.
The official rollout date is expected to be announced shortly.
