The Department of Tourism, Goa, will host the 6th Spirit of Goa Festival from May 2 to 4, 2025, at the scenic SAG Grounds in Colva. This three-day event celebrates Goa’s rich cultural and culinary heritage, featuring around 40 stalls showcasing locally distilled beverages such as the traditional GI-tagged Cashew Feni, innovative Feni infusions, premium gins, craft beers, wines, and agave-based liquors. The festival also offers an expansive culinary journey through authentic Saraswat, Konkan, and Christian cuisines, highlighting unique local ingredients like banana flower, kokum, and raw jackfruit.
Visitors can participate in interactive activities including food and mixology masterclasses, live demonstrations of Goan arts and crafts, a curated Feni Experience Centre, and fun cashew stomping sessions. And on top of that, entertainment will be provided by local Goan talent on a high-quality stage supported by a world-class German Coda audio system. The festival aims to empower local artisans and promote Goa’s cultural, culinary, and artisanal heritage while advancing regenerative tourism goals.
