Goa University has announced Friday, July 11, 2025, as a discretionary holiday for all teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as students. The decision was communicated through an official circular approved by the Vice-Chancellor.
All Deans and Heads of Divisions have been directed to inform their respective faculty members, administrative staff, and students about the holiday.
The circular did not specify the reason behind the discretionary leave, but the university has advised everyone to take note of the schedule change and plan accordingly.
