Goa is emerging as a frontrunner in India’s AI-driven digital governance journey, with a strong focus on inclusivity, transparency, and citizen empowerment, IT Minister Rohan Khaunte said.

At the 18th Digital Technology Conclave (DTC), organised by GovConnect and Goa Electronics Limited, Khaunte announced that the Goa AI Mission 2027 is shaping a smarter and more resilient state.

“AI in governance is more than efficiency—it is about enabling creativity, inclusivity, and transformation. Goa, with its openness and resilience, is ready to lead this change,” he said while underlining the state’s goal of moving from Digital India to Viksit Bharat.

The inaugural session explored themes such as digital governance, cybersecurity, emerging technologies, and next-generation citizen services. The event saw participation from policymakers, industry experts, and leaders, including Mizoram’s ICT Minister Vanlalthlana and Goa Electronics Limited CEO Revati Kumar.
