
The JEE Mains Session 2 results were announced on Saturday, and a total of 24 students secured a 100 percentile in this session, while a total of 56 students secured a 100 percentile in Paper 1 across both sessions of JEE Main 2025. Meanwhile, from Goa, Navinya Desai from Madgaon is the state topper. Navinya secured a percentile of 99.98 and plans to pursue admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology.
Venkatesh Prabhudesai, the mentor at Mushtifund Aryan Higher Secondary School (MAHSS), stated that eight of their students achieved a percentile above 99. It also came to light that a total of 17 students from Goa scored above the 99 percentile mark. Other high scorers included Stephen Silva (99.8), Sparsh Anjgaonkar (99.61), Ahana Sangui (99.47), Isaiah Caldera (99.41), Suhit Mahambre (99.23), Steve Barreto (99.14), and Tany Mahajan (99.05).
"Our institution has a record with 17 students scoring above the 98 percentile, which is a record for any single institution in Goa. Navinya was a student of MAHSS, Kujira. He was the Goa topper in JEE Mains Session 1 of 2024, where he scored 99.89 percentile. This is the second-highest percentile from Goa so far. Congratulations to all students, the principal of MAHSS, Manali Varyekar, and the entire staff," said Prabhudesai.
Rupa S. Khoppe of Dempo Pace stated that five of their students scored above the 99 percentile. "Rohan Kenny scored 99.95 percentile, Aadi Pai Kucelkar scored 99.89 percentile, Advait Kotnis scored 99.6 percentile, Rishabh Talwadkar scored 99.4 percentile, and Advay Mothe scored 99.18 percentile. We also have Sai Dalvi, who scored 98.87 percentile," said Khoppe.
