Former Goa Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude has announced that he will directly approach Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President J.P. Nadda, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to share his concerns following his recent removal from the state cabinet.

Speaking at a public rally in Marcel village, within his Priol Assembly constituency, Gaude revealed that since joining the BJP three and a half years ago, he was consistently denied the opportunity to meet the party’s top leadership in Delhi.

“I was not allowed to meet the party high command, including J.P. Nadda, during my last three and a half years. Now, I understand why,” Gaude said, alluding to his dismissal from the cabinet.

Gaude has since written letters to Prime Minister Modi, BJP President Nadda, and President Droupadi Murmu, informing them about the developments in Goa.

His removal from the cabinet came after he publicly criticized the Tribal Welfare Department—headed by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant—for inefficiency and corruption. Notably, Gaude was sacked on June 18, which coincides with Goa Revolution Day.

Despite his removal, Gaude made it clear that he has no intention of resigning as an MLA or from the BJP.

“I did not join the BJP to resign. I will remain in the party and support Prime Minister Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047,” he asserted.

To ensure his message is accurately conveyed, Gaude said he will transcribe his speech into Hindi, English, and Marathi and send it to BJP leaders in Delhi, so that his stance and the issues he has raised about Goa’s Tribal community are understood without distortion.

Gaude emphasized that the Tribal community in Goa has endured injustice for six decades, and he is committed to fighting for their rights.

“Their demands should have been discussed, not just my statement about inefficiency and corruption in the Tribal Welfare Department,” he concluded, addressing a packed audience.
