The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Goa Police arrested a 29-year-old man from Kerala for allegedly possessing a high-value consignment of narcotics, including hydroponic cannabis and LSD blot papers, in Siolim.
The seized contraband is estimated to be worth ₹22 lakh in the illegal drug market. Officials said the bust included a significant quantity of hydroponically grown marijuana—a potent, soil-free variant—and LSD blot papers, a powerful hallucinogenic substance.
The arrest is part of ANC’s ongoing crackdown on the drug trade in North Goa’s coastal belt, which has seen a rise in synthetic and high-grade narcotics in recent months.
Further investigation is underway to determine the source of the drugs and whether the accused is part of a larger network operating in the region.
