Mapusa Police have identified four suspects in an alleged knife assault case, including two from Sangolda and two from Calangute, while a fifth suspect remains unidentified. A special police team has been deployed to track down the accused, with officials expressing confidence that they will soon be apprehended.
As part of the investigation, the parents of the accused were brought in for questioning under the supervision of North Goa SP Rahul Gupta, DySP Wilson D’Souza, and PI Nikhil Palekar.
The weapon used in the assault has not yet been recovered. Police have confirmed that further investigation is ongoing.
