Swift action by Mapusa Police led to the arrest of four youths involved in a violent assault on two parking attendants at Rizim Plaza, Morod, on Ganesh Chaturthi. The clash began when attendant Sandeep Kumar requested a motorist to park properly. Enraged, the accused struck him with a bike key and summoned friends, who later joined in a brutal attack. Kumar’s colleague, Prakash Talwar, was stabbed in the stomach during the assault. Both men sustained serious injuries, with Talwar requiring advanced treatment at Goa Medical College and Hospital.
