MARGAO: A ‘Mega mutation camp’ will be held at the South Goa District Collectorate on September 28 to address the backlog of pending mutation applications from citizens. The camp aims to streamline the process and ensure that citizens can complete their applications more efficiently.
Speaking to reporters, Minister for Environment Aleixo Sequeira highlighted the importance of the initiative in helping citizens finalise their mutation procedures. He encouraged residents to bring all necessary documents to facilitate the process. The Sub-Registrar has been instructed to attend the camp on Saturday to assist in completing the applications.
In a separate announcement, the Minister stated that a visit to the Cutbona Jetty is scheduled for Monday, where officials will address pending issues. He noted that improvements, such as the construction of toilets and bathing facilities, have already been made. Previously, a large number of small boats were docked at the jetty, but only three remain, along with one larger vessel.
