
Francisco Xavier Pacheco, popularly known as Mickky and a resident of Bresources House in Benaulim, has filed a detailed complaint at the Colva Police Station against Fidol Pereira and the YouTube channel “Alert Goans.” The complaint revolves around a video uploaded on August 29, 2025, which Pacheco claims contains defamatory and abusive remarks, false financial allegations, and personal insults targeted at him.
According to the contents of the complaint, the video did not merely express criticism but went a step further by making baseless accusations regarding Pacheco’s financial transactions and employing language intended to degrade his personal dignity.
These statements have the potential to harm his reputation, both in public and private life, creating concerns over social, professional, and personal ramifications. Responding to the complaint, the Colva Police have issued statutory notices under Section 41 to all relevant parties.
Pacheco has certainly made clear that he will actively participate in the ongoing investigative process, highlighting his readiness to face scrutiny not just as a politician, but as a responsible citizen. For verification, Pacheco has provided police with digital evidence, such as a pen drive containing relevant recordings and messages.
