Minister Vishwajit Rane backs CM Sawant to resolve Sattari land woes, urges locals to ignore ‘false propaganda’

Minister Vishwajit Rane has expressed strong faith in Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant’s leadership, saying he’s confident the CM will find a fair and lasting solution to the growing concerns over unauthorised houses and land disputes in Sattari — including issues related to revenue and Alvara land.

Speaking to reassure anxious locals, Rane urged people not to fall for what he called “false propaganda” spread by certain individuals for political mileage. He reminded residents that the BJP is in power both in Goa and at the Centre and assured them that the matter is being handled seriously at the highest levels.

“I’ve already discussed these concerns with the Chief Minister, and I believe a solution will be found through a transparent, democratic process — with full consultation from the judiciary,” Rane said.

His comments come amid rising uncertainty among Sattari families worried about their land and homes. By reaffirming the government’s commitment to resolving the matter legally and fairly, Rane aimed to calm nerves and reinforce the message that the rights of affected communities will not be ignored.
