Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Monday announced that a new pharmacy college will soon be established in Sankhali, marking a significant step in expanding professional education infrastructure in North Goa.
Highlighting a shift in educational priorities, CM Sawant noted that traditional and professional degree courses have become saturated, and the future lies in skill-based education and employment. "We must now focus on equipping our youth with practical skills that directly translate into jobs," he said.
The upcoming pharmacy institution is part of the state government's broader effort to align academic offerings with market demands, ensuring that students are better prepared for current and emerging career opportunities.
