VASCO: The construction of new Vasco fish market is nearing completion and it will be inaugurated by November end.
The Vasco fish market is almost ready and final touch to the project will be completed before October. A final meeting was also held with the fish market vendors to know their requirements such as provision of cold storage, their seating arrangement, spaces for fish cutters etc
Vasco MLA Krishna Daji Salkar said that besides the new fish market, the entire Swatantra Path will also be revamped by spending around Rs 12 crore. This road will have a total makeover with new footpaths, new barricades and even new trees.
