During Covid times, fish vendors were allowed to sell their wares at Maria Hall crossroads, Benaulim but the place has become a permanent market now.
The place is always crowded and buses originating from Mobor and Colva proceeding towards Margao stop at the junction to pick up passengers adding to the congestion. Customers parking their vehicles along the road makes matter worse. Minor accidents occur at regular intervals and fights breakout amongst two wheeler riders for parking space. Can the government not provide an alternative spot to the fish vendors to solve the problem ?
