Old Goa police have arrested two men, Niraj Kumar (38) and Upendra Ram (40), both residents of Bihar, after conducting a narcotics raid at Mollar-Corlim in Tiswadi. The men were allegedly found in illegal possession of 1.015 grams of ganja, along with Rs 2.35 lakhs in cash.
The arrest follows a targeted operation by local police, which resulted in the seizure of both the drugs and the substantial sum of money. Authorities have charged the suspects under narcotics-related offenses and are investigating the source of the drugs and the origin of the cash.
