
In response to the recent terror attack on civilians in Pahalgam, Kashmir, the Old Goa Police launched an intensive combing operation in the Indiranagar Chimbel area, along with other parts of Chimbel, Merces, and Santa Cruz, as part of heightened security measures to protect public safety.
During the operation, the police rounded up 252 individuals, taking preventive actions to ensure no potential threats to public security. A total of 21 arrests were made under preventive action, with 12 others arrested under the Stranger Roll and other security protocols.
The operation, aimed at preventing any untoward incidents, highlights the authorities' vigilance and commitment to maintaining law and order following the deadly attack in Kashmir.
