PANJIM: The Porvorim Police have booked a 41-year-old man from Socorro for allegedly abusing a woman in filthy language and outraging her modesty.
According to police, on November 5 morning, while the complainant was proceeding on the internal road in her car, the accused Jitendra Halarnkar, who was coming from the opposite direction, drove his car in rash and negligent manner and blocked her way near Defence Colony, Porvorim.
The accused got down from his vehicle, charged towards the complainant and in a violent manner, abused her in filthy language.
