Panjim police have arrested Franco D'Costa (28) of St. Cruz and Sairaj Govekar (28) in connection with the alleged assault and attempted murder of activist Rama Kankonkar at Caranzalem. Both accused have been brought to the Panjim police station for further investigation.A total of seven persons have been arrested.
