The Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) has vowed to make the state capital pothole-free within the next 25 days, prioritising repairs on the city’s busiest stretches.

According to CCP officials, work will begin on 18th June Road, followed by Neugi Nagar and the EDC Patto area. “We are just waiting for a dry spell to start work,” an official said, adding that a pneumatic road roller will be deployed to expedite the process.

The corporation clarified that newly laid concrete roads under the Smart City Mission will not be affected, with repairs focused mainly on older tar roads in need of restoration.

To ensure durability, CCP has already procured hincol road bond and RS-1 HDPE emulsion, which will be used during the repair drive.
