Specialized Workshop on Animal Cruelty Laws Held for DSPCA South Officers, Led by PETA’s Meet Ashar

A specialized training program on animal cruelty laws and legal response mechanisms was successfully conducted for officers of the DSPCA South by Meet Ashar, the Cruelty Response Legal Advisor and Associate Director of PETA India. The workshop aimed to raise awareness and provide essential legal tools to the officers for effectively addressing cases of animal cruelty.

The session saw active participation from key figures, including Executive Secretary Virginia Simoes, Amol Satoskar, Raj Pratik, Soham Naik, Kelly Menezes, and Darshana Wadekar. The training equipped the officers with the necessary knowledge and skills to better respond to and handle animal cruelty cases in the region.
