PANJIM: Police Inspector Paresh Naik who was transferred to Reserve Police a few days ago has been reinstated back at the Calangute Police station.
Naik was shunted to the reserve lines a few days over the law and order situation at Tito's lane in Baga.
There was a huge outcry over the transfer of the PI as the public and netizens alleged that the department had initiated action against the upright officer for acting tough against the bouncers employed by some Delhi based club owners for assaulting two local youth from Canca.
PSI Kiran Naik too was transferred along with Paresh Naik.
