Panic struck the Ashtami fair opposite the ESG complex on Friday when a private bus went out of control and rammed into a vendor stall.
Three people sustained injuries in the accident, while a two-wheeler parked nearby was crushed under the impact. Eyewitnesses said the bus suddenly veered off the road, causing chaos among fairgoers.
Panjim police immediately rushed to the spot, conducted a panchnama, and shifted the injured to hospital for treatment. Further investigation into the cause of the mishap is underway.
