PANJIM: The Porvorim Police arrested a teenager from Maharashtra for allegedly kidnapping a minor girl from Nerul.
PI Rahul Parab stated a complaint was lodged by the mother of the minor girl stating that her daughter has been kidnapped and taken away by unidentified person.
During course of investigation, it was revealed that the alleged accused identified as Arjun Kadam (18) from Khed, Pune, Maharashtra had kidnapped the minor girl. Police traced the accused with the minor girl at Kavathe Village, Pune.

A team of Porvorim Police Station consisting of PSI Mayur Sawant, Constables Akash Naik and Deeptesh and Lady Constable Sunita Rathod visited Pune rescued the victim.
Further investigation is going on with LPSI Prajoti Dessai under the supervision of SDPO Porvorim Vishwesh Karpe and SP North, Akshay Kaushal, IPS.
