A section of the internal road at Madel-Fatorda has once again caved in, raising serious safety concerns for both motorists and pedestrians. The recurring issue has sparked frustration among residents, who say authorities have failed to provide a permanent solution despite repeated complaints.
“This is not the first time the road has caved in. Temporary fixes are done, but no long-term repair has been carried out,” said Milagres Fernandes, a local social worker. He warned that the damaged stretch poses a real danger and could lead to a serious accident if not addressed immediately.
Locals are now demanding urgent intervention from civic authorities to carry out lasting repairs and ensure the safety of commuters in the area.
