
The long-awaited road widening project at Muslim Wada in Bicholim is moving at a rapid pace, bringing relief to commuters struggling with the growing traffic congestion in the area. Local councillor Riyaz Beg confirmed that the Rs 7-crore development work, which had faced challenges in the early stages, is now progressing smoothly with the strong cooperation of local residents. According to Beg, the road infrastructure upgrade will be completed within the next two to three months. Once finished, it is expected to ease travel for thousands in the region by reducing bottlenecks and improving overall road safety.
