The Sangampur Ganesh Utsav Mandal has officially launched its annual lottery, with Sanguem MLA Subhash Phal Dessai and Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral inaugurating the event.
As in previous years, the lottery offers a host of grand prizes, with the first and second prizes being residential flats. In total, there are 20 major prizes up for grabs, including multiple cars. This year, the Mandal has increased its ticket printing to 1.5 lakh, up from 1 lakh last year, reflecting growing interest in the draw.
In a philanthropic gesture, the committee announced that part of the lottery proceeds will be donated toward the ongoing construction of the Shree Paik Dev Devasthan temple. Ticket sales are set to begin tomorrow morning.
