Sanguem Municipal Council Faces Infrastructure Issues, Delaying Public Services
Published on

The Sanguem Municipal Council is currently experiencing significant infrastructure challenges, as it possesses only four operational computers for a staff of thirteen. This situation necessitates the sharing of systems among employees, resulting in delays in the provision of public services. Consequently, residents are often required to wait several days for even the most fundamental tasks to be completed

The office environment appears to be inadequate, characterized by damaged cupboards and non-functional printers, which further impede operational efficiency. These shortcomings have a direct impact on the public who depend on the municipal office for vital services.

The sole remaining hope lies with the chief officer, Siddharth Prabhu, who holds the authority in this situation. It is anticipated that he will take swift action to address the issue, ensuring it is resolved as soon as possible, according to a local resident.
