PANJIM: The State government on Monday effected transfers of senior scale officers with immediate effect, in public interest.
According to an order issued on the recommendation of the Goa Services Board, Melvyn Vaz, who was Secretary, Goa Rehabilitation Board, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director of Goa State SC, OBC Finance and Development Corporation.
Derrick Pereira Neto, who was MD of Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL), has been transferred as Special Land Acquisition Officer (SLAO), Mopa Airport, while Rajan K Satardekar, who was awaiting posting, has been posted as Director of Public Private Partnership (PPP).
Vassudev Shetye, who was SLAO, Mopa Airport, with additional charge of Director (Training) Goa Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (GIPARD), has been posted as Director (Training), GIPARD.
Pundalik V Khorjuekar, who was Additional Collector-I (North), has been transferred and posted as Managing Director of KTCL, while Mahadev Arondekar, who was Director of PPP, has been transferred and posted as Additional Collector – I (North). The order said that Manuel Barreto, Joint Director of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Directorate of Women and Child Development shall hold the charge of Director, Women and Child Development, in addition to his own duties, while Fransquinha Oliveira shall report to Department of Personnel and draw salary against the post of Leave and Training Revenue until further orders.
