Noted singer Hema Sardesai has revealed that she was recently approached by a senior politician and a national political party with offers to join their ranks and be nominated to the Rajya Sabha, an offer she says she declined.
In a candid statement, Sardesai disclosed, “A BJP supporter asked me to join the BJP, which I refused at the time. But if the party leadership approaches me directly, I may consider it,” she added, leaving the door open for future political engagement.
While she did not name the political leader or party that extended the Rajya Sabha offer, her remarks have sparked speculation about potential high-profile political moves ahead.
