A soft drink delivery vehicle overturned near the Pernem Government College and railway station service road, along the side of the Pernem highway, earlier today.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. Eyewitnesses said the vehicle lost balance and toppled while navigating the service road, causing a brief disruption in traffic flow.
Local authorities reached the spot soon after and assisted in clearing the vehicle from the roadside. The cause of the mishap is believed to be loss of control, though a detailed report is awaited.
Traffic has since resumed to normal in the area.
