PANJIM: Students appearing for the Class IX exam at a high school in Bicholim were taken aback when they found answers printed alongside of their question paper.
The goof-up allegedly by a paper setter put the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in a soup as 10 students answering the Urdu paper found answers to the Multiple Choice Questions printed alongside the questions.
GBSHSE Chairman Bhagirath Shetye said that the incident came to light 10 minutes before the start of the exams.
“The students did not get answers as it was detached from question paper,” he said adding that the Goa Board has sought an explanation from the concerned teacher, who set the paper.
