PANJIM: The Old Goa Police have booked an unknown person for kidnapping a 14-year-old girl from St Cruz.
According to police, father of the victim hailing from Paina, Uttar Pradesh, lodged a complaint stating that his 14-year-old daughter left her home on December 31, 2024, informing him that she is going to her friend's house for some party. She however failed to return home compelling the father to lodge a police complaint.
An FIR under section 137(2) of BNS (kidnapping) and section 8 of Goa Children's Act has been registered and the case is being investigated by PSI Diptaraj Gaude.
