A tourist was injured on the Siolim-Marna road when the four-wheeler he was driving overturned in an effort to avoid hitting a cow. The incident occurred earlier today and resulted in significant damage to the vehicle.

According to the driver, the accident happened when he suddenly swerved to avoid a cow that had wandered onto the road, causing the vehicle to lose control and flip over. The tourist, who sustained minor injuries, was immediately shifted to the nearby Primary Health Centre (PHC) for medical treatment.

Local authorities arrived at the scene shortly after the crash to assess the situation and clear the road. The car, which sustained extensive damage, has since been removed from the site.

Road safety concerns have increased in the area due to frequent incidents involving stray animals. Residents have called for preventive measures to avoid such mishaps in the future.
