In a timely rescue operation, fire personnel from Pernem successfully rescued two bulls that had fallen into a field well in Agarwada on Wednesday.
The incident came to light when local resident Anand Naik spotted the trapped animals and immediately alerted Sachin Raut, former sarpanch and local panch of the village. Acting swiftly, Raut contacted the Pernem Fire Department, who promptly arrived at the scene.
Using ropes and coordinated effort, the fire team managed to safely pull both bulls out of the well. Fortunately, the animals did not suffer any major injuries.
Initial reports suggest that the bulls do not belong to Agarwada village, but are believed to have strayed from a neighboring area. Authorities are working to identify the owners and ensure the animals are returned safely.
The community has praised the quick response of both the local leaders and fire personnel for their effective handling of the situation.
