Ugandan woman bites lady cop

PERNEM: The Mandrem police have registered a case against Uganda national for allegedly biting a lady constable while on duty.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at Malpem, Pernem when two lady constables were escorting the foreigner from the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Pernem to the Central Jail, Colvale.

The police stated that Uganda national Shinah Esterh with intention assaulted the complainant by biting her right hand and causing scratch injury to another land constable of Mandrem police station, while discharging their duties of escorting her.

Esterh was arrested by the police on the charge of overstaying in the country on October 5. He was found staying illegally in a rented room at Arambol without valid travel document viz Passport Visa.
