Valpoi Police Register FIR Against Woman for Alleged ₹12 Lakh Pharmacy Fraud

The Valpoi police have registered an FIR against Heena Gafar Khan, a resident of Nanus-Valpoi, for allegedly misappropriating ₹12 lakh by manipulating sales bills of a pharmacy located in Valpoi town.

According to police sources, the fraud came to light following an internal audit of the pharmacy’s accounts, which revealed discrepancies in billing and cash records. Heena Khan, who was reportedly associated with the pharmacy’s operations, is accused of altering sales bills to siphon off the funds over a period of time.

A case has been registered and a detailed investigation is currently underway, officials said. Police are examining financial records and speaking to staff and witnesses to ascertain the extent of the alleged fraud.

Authorities have assured that appropriate action will be taken based on the outcome of the probe.
