The final Shravan Somvar celebrations in Vasco were marked by vibrant devotion as the traditional Paar (mythological float) and Dindi (musical walking pilgrimage) made their way from Sada to the historic Damodar Temple.

The tradition, observed for the past 125 years, sees devotees accompany the Paar on the last Monday of the holy Shravan month. Despite heavy rains, hundreds of devotees participated with unwavering spirit, walking the entire route from Sada to the temple.

The colorful Paar, showcasing mythological themes, drew large crowds, while the rhythmic beats and devotional singing of the Dindi added to the festive atmosphere.

Local residents and temple authorities said the annual celebration continues to symbolize the deep-rooted faith and cultural heritage of the community.
