The annual Damodar Bhajani Saptha in Vasco witnessed a spectacular cultural display as the traditional Par Dindi float parade took center stage on the festival night. The devotional procession, held along Swatantra Path road, saw enthusiastic participation from around five groups, each performing bhajans as they accompanied beautifully decorated floats.

The Dindi, marked by its spiritual fervor and vibrant atmosphere, drew large crowds of devotees and onlookers, all gathered to celebrate the rich cultural and religious heritage of Goa. Dressed in traditional attire, participants sang and played devotional music in honor of Lord Damodar, while the floats depicted scenes of mythological and spiritual significance.

The highlight of the event was the culmination of the procession at the historic Damodar Temple, where special prayers and bhajans continued into the night, creating a deeply spiritual ambiance. The celebration once again underscored the community’s strong connection to its faith, tradition, and cultural identity, making the Saptha an integral part of Vasco’s spiritual calendar.
