Goa Forward Party chief and MLA Vijai Sardesai has strongly criticised the state government, alleging a complete breakdown of law and order following an acid attack reported earlier today. Expressing shock over the incident, Sardesai said he had never witnessed such crimes taking place in Goa before.
"It seems like there is no government in Goa. The situation is so bad that Goans are turning into minorities in their own state while outsiders are indulging in open intimidation and ‘dadagiri’," he remarked.
Sardesai’s statement underscores growing concerns among locals over rising crime and the perceived failure of authorities to maintain public safety.
