PANJIM: Printing and Stationery Minister Rohan Khaunte on Friday said that One Series (Series III) of the Official Gazette will be available to the public in Konkani soon. Initiatives such as E-books, E-gazettes are also on cards under the Printing and Stationary Department, Khaunte said during virtual inauguration of the Citizen Service Centre at Pernem and 10 WiFi Hotspots across Goa. The Printing and Stationary Department has obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification, an international standard demonstrating the ability to consistently deliver standardised and high-quality service to the public, Khaunte said adding that the State has the oldest printing press in Asia.”
This certification will help the Department become more efficient and enable a system of continual improvement driven by current needs and requirements, and also, increase the customer satisfaction and help maintain high-quality standards in its products and services, he said.
ISO certification would help the Department to streamline its processes and operations, resulting in increased efficiency and cost savings, he added.
