Govt has become broker rather than protector of public: Activist Swapnesh Sherlekar
PANJIM: In the ongoing Bhutani controversy, serious concerns have been raised about the permissions granted to the Bhutani Group for its project. Activist Swapnesh Sherlekar and Congress Vice President Tulio D’souza questioned the legitimacy of the approvals, accusing the government of facilitating builder interests over public welfare.
They criticized the state for failing to evaluate the development potential of such mega projects, accusing the government of acting as a broker rather than protector of public interest.
