PANJIM: The Goa government has terminated the Rs 7.2 crore work order awarded to the Boston Consulting Group (India) Pvt Ltd, for preparing the “Viksit Goa @ 2047” vision document.
“Boston Consulting Group (India) Private Limited (BCG) has not been consistent with expectations and deliverables mentioned in the Work Order dated 14 March, 2024,” states the termination order issued by Vijay Saxena, director of Planning, Statistics and Evaluation.
As per the work order, the BCG had not identified 15 high impact priority areas to focus on social and sectoral priorities. Neither proper assessment of the State’s unique strength, constraints and opportunities nor its alignment with national best practices was done by the BCG.
It was noted that the BCG had not submitted its 1st inception report on “Viksit Goa @2047” on time.
